Avena Foods Limited at Supplyside West 2018

The 2018 Supplyside West trade show and conference in Las Vegas, NV was an exciting time for the Avena Foods team! It was our first opportunity to roll out the new branding for the company. We got positive unsolicited feedback on the look and feel of the new Avena Foods. At #SSWExpo we focused on two of our product portfolios: Avena Purity Protocol (<5ppm) gluten free oats and the BEST Food Ingredients line of pulse (lentil, pea, chickpea and bean) flours, cracked pulses, and pulse egg replacers.

Supplyside West also gave us the first opportunity to highlight our line of Avena Purity Protocol certified organic oat ingredients, as well as BEST certified organic and gluten free (<5ppm) oat hull fiber. These ingredients provide food manufacturers of all sizes with options they need to naturally improve the fiber and protein content of gluten free foods. Food manufacturers we spoke to are excited that Avena Foods’ provides traceable, sustainable ingredients produced with our unique farm to facility “Start Clean, Stay Clean” protocols. There was also a lot of interest in both ingredient portfolios for providing functional, allergen-free solutions.
